Special Education Teacher – Chilton, WI
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time school-based position in Chilton, Wisconsin for the remainder of the school year.
Position Details:
- Full-Time
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM–3:40 PM
- ASAP – End of School Year
- Intellectual Disability/Autism Teacher
- K–6th Grade Caseload
- 8 Students
- 2 Paraprofessionals in the Classroom
- Primarily Self-Contained Classroom Setting
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching license/certification
- Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred
- Experience in a self-contained special education classroom preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff
- Commitment to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
