Mad Chef Craft Brewing is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Bartender/Register Team Member to join our Front of House team.

Mad Chef is a fast-paced, counter-service brewery and restaurant. This position combines bartending, guest service, and register responsibilities. Our team members help create a welcoming experience by guiding guests through our beer and food menus, accurately taking orders, pouring beer, and preparing cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS system
• Serve craft beer, cocktails, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages
• Answer questions about our beer, cocktail, and food menus
• Check identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service policies
• Process cash and credit-card payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar and register area
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, food runners, hosts, and management
• Assist teammates during busy shifts
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, brewery, or customer-service experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old; applicants must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol
• Strong communication and guest-service skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Able to remain organized while managing multiple orders and responsibilities
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required

Job Type: Part-time or full-time, depending on availability
Schedule: Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
