Warehouse / Logistics TechnicianThe Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the goods reach the customer on time and in full (OTIF) by handling warehousing facilities and being able to effectively manage time to pack and prepare goods corresponding to open orders. This position requires frequent and thorough communication with all parties to ensure expectations are managed and satisfied.It is critical that BBC Orders are managed professionally, politely, and promptly to maintain favorable relationships with all Distributors and Customers.The Logistics Technician's main responsibilities include packing and wrapping orders, loading and unloading trucks and helping maintain clean and organized storage facilities. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate production needs and logistics. Maintaining and following processes and paperwork is critical to ensuring the efficient operation aspect of this position.This is a split position between our two facilities in Armada and Capac. Time will be spent at each location as needed, and regular travel between the two facilities is required.Key ResponsibilitiesPack, wrap, and prepare customer orders in accordance with open sales ordersLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyManage BHC and AEC orders professionally, promptly, and courteouslyCoordinate closely with production, logistics, and internal teams to meet shipping deadlinesMaintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and storage areasAccurately complete and maintain all required paperwork and shipping documentationFollow established warehouse processes, safety standards, and proceduresCommunicate proactively to ensure expectations are understood and metRequirementsQualifications, Skills & RequirementsHi-Lo Experience.Reliable Transportation.High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.Must have proficient math skills.Ability to deal effectively with vendors in person.Excellent understanding of the principles of LogisticsAble to use Microsoft Office Applications if necessary.Able to work with others and/or independently.The ability to frequently and repeatedly lift 20lbs and maneuver 165lbs.Must be able to remain standing for an entire shift.Energetic team players must be a self-starter with minimal supervision and good follow-through.Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processesA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and integrity is a must.Maintain a neat and professional appearance.Ability to be patient and overcome stressful situations.Ability to work on the fly and shift to different responsibilities as needed.Working ConditionsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with some periods being loud.Some weekend work may be required during our busy season.Some 2nd shift hours may be required.Will be required to work outdoors throughout ALL seasons.
