Entry Level Communications Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic communications team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to launch their career in communications and public relations. As a Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our communication strategies, helping to enhance the organization's brand presence and engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
- Support the management of social media accounts by scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
- Conduct media research and track media coverage to generate reports for the communications team.
- Help coordinate and support internal and external events, including logistics and communications.
- Maintain and update the organization's website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with content management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
