Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Clayton Services is searching for a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join a growing engineering consulting organization in Southwest Houston. The Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) will be responsible for managing residential and commercial surveying projects, ensuring quality control, maintaining project schedules, and delivering accurate survey results while providing exceptional client service. Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) Responsibilities: Perform surveying services for residential homebuilders, commercial developments, engineering firms, and other clients. Manage project assignments and ensure new projects are properly scheduled and distributed. Oversee multiple surveying projects to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met. Review survey deliverables to ensure compliance with established quality control standards. Monitor project progress and maintain open communication with clients and internal teams throughout each phase of the project. Coordinate workflows to maintain project schedules and meet required turnaround times. Collaborate with engineering, surveying, and project teams to support successful project execution. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail on all survey deliverables. Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and applicable regulations. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) Education and Experience: Current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license required, or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure if currently licensed in another state. 2–5 years of experience as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. Proficiency with AutoCAD required. Experience supporting residential homebuilder, commercial, and engineering surveying projects preferred.
