Job Summary

A valuable member of our team, as a maintenance technician, you will work with the production department and production manager to ensure that all equipment is running safely and efficiently. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and MVR.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance for heavy industrial machinery and vehicles.
• Oil, grease, fill fluids and make adjustments on machinery to keep them running efficiently.
• Follow periodic maintenance instructions, procedures and schedules
• Complete maintenance logs and signoff sheets
• Perform equipment repairs.
• Assist with equipment installation.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical & Electrical experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
• Must be able to repetitively use hand tools.
• Must be able to climb steps, walk over uneven or obstructed surfaces.
• Must be able to work in a dirty, dusty, greasy, oily environment.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and dusk mask as required.
• Must be able to work in elevated areas.
