Your Roles: Provide chairside assistance to our amazing doctors , during various dental procedures, including preparing teeth for bonding, placing and removing brackets, separators, fitting bands, and assisting with the placement of brackets & appliances. Ensure proper isolation during procedures using appropriate suction techniques. Take & Maintain accurate patient records including photographs detailing oral health histories and treatment progress. Conduct intraoral X-rays and 3D scans , and take detailed photographs of patients’ teeth to aid in treatment planning. Must have Xray Certification in state of Florida We prefer experience with ligating brackets, Invisalign (placing attachments/delivering aligners), iTero or Trios Scanner, Dental Monitoring, familiarity with digital imaging and practice management software programs. We are also willing to train a right fit individual if lacking in some of the above qualifications however you MUST have some orthodontic assistant training whether through a program or on the job. Take impressions for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and retainers . Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare. Manage and maintain treatment rooms for patients, as well as preparing dental instruments, ensuring all are properly sterilized before each use, in compliance with OSHA and CDC standards. Participate in practice promotion activities and community outreach events to enhance patient engagement and clinic visibility.
