About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Healthcare Underwriting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of underwriting activities within the healthcare lending division, including the independent underwriting of healthcare loans and the management of the loan origination process from initial prescreen to closing. This role involves preparing complex financial underwriting for transactions typically ranging from $30-100 million, working closely with various stakeholders, and conducting in-depth analyses of financial performance, risks, and due diligence in the healthcare industry. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting, preferably in healthcare finance. The role requires a strong understanding of credit policies, high proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel-based modeling, and experience in loan structuring and legal documentation review. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities also include managing the transition of closed loans to the portfolio management team, participating in special projects, and building industry relationships to identify new loan opportunities.
