Location: Detroit, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 37.5 hrs/week
Shift Flexibility: Some evenings/weekends may be required
Position Type: Permanent

Compensation:

• Full License: $29.47 – $39.67/hour
• Limited License: $27.22 – $36.63/hour
• Non-negotiable, grant-based structure

Position Overview:

A community-based behavioral health organization is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or equivalent clinician to join their Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health team. This role focuses on providing therapy, assessments, and care coordination for adults and families in an outpatient mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations
• Provide individual and group therapy to adults and families
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
• Support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and care teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Participate in supervision, case consultations, and team meetings
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with agency and funding requirements
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Active Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP)
• Minimum 1 year experience (including internship/fieldwork) in mental health settings
• Must obtain QMHP credential within 120 days of hire
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship/visa candidates)
