Maintenance ManagerPrintpack Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Manager, located in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate for the Maintenance Manager position will be responsible for developing improvements in equipment efficiencies and optimization which translates directly to increased quality and customer satisfaction.Printpack offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote wellness and provide protection for our associates and their families. Some of our competitive benefits include medical coverage, dental coverage, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, a matching gift program, employee assistance programs, educational assistance, and service awards.Minimum Qualifications:Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively (strong preference for maintenance or technical operations)Exceptional skills in managing multiple priorities and coordinating tasks efficiently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, verbally and in writing across departmentsYour Day-To-Day:Effectively manage the Safety, Quality, and Productivity requirements of the equipment and facility to meet department and plant goals.Coordinate and manage the annual department budget.Perform daily walks within the plant to observe/adjust safety, quality, and productivity issues impacting plant performance.Operate the department with a mindset to meet or exceed customer expectations.Foster an atmosphere of trust, respect, and teamwork that encourages associates to continuously improve our company.Lead, mentor, and coach the team to encourage and enable associates.Drive diversity and inclusion across business units and functions.Be a guardian of Printpack culture, resources, and assets.Manage the Preventive Maintenance program and support Daily Team Maintenance initiatives.Manage work order system with a special emphasis on safety work orders.Manage capital and expense projects related to new equipment and continuous improvement initiatives.Adequately identify and staff the maintenance department with qualified talent as neededPreferred QualificationsDirect supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience working with and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, including Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance.Capital Project Management experienceCAD layouts of floor plans, fixture design, pipe runs, etc.Plant or Process Engineering experienceExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for Preventive Maintenance, Purchase Requisitions, Work Order Tracking, and Inventory Management.Knowledge of electrical safety.Key Deliverables:Knowledge and communication of statistical methods and financial driversGood communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonalAbility to work with manufacturing and non-manufacturing associatesStrong organizational and follow-up skills, and the ability to maintain long and short-term projectsAbility to react quickly and logically to manufacturing problemsTime scheduled to allow for interaction with all shiftsInternal Candidate:Must be in current position for a minimum of 120 daysMust have 'Performer' or higher rating on last performance reviewMust have a satisfactory performance and safety recordA resume is required for further considerationPrintpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
