Equipment includes, but is not limited to: Firearms, scopes, archery equipment, Fishing reels, grills & smokersMaintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipmentArchery repairs, including: full setup of a bow, tuning and repairs, cutting and fletching arrowsFirearms repairs, including mounting scopes & optics, bore sighting, set up packages for all gun shopsEnsure a clean and Professional EnvironmentExceptional problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsAbility to complete basic mathematical equationsAbility to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and scheduled training meetingsComplete other duties as assigned by LeadershipEducation & Experience:The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and training, as well as mechanical skills and knowledge.Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
