The VIOS Clinic
Role: Cytotechnologist in a full-time position within the Laboratory/Pathology department. Responsibilities: Examine human cellular samples microscopically, interpret non-gynecologic cytology specimens, perform quality control, oversee specimen receipt and processing, and mark pertinent findings based on clinical history. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, graduation from an approved cytotechnology program, ASCP certification, and ideally two years of experience screening non-gynecological specimens, including FNA. Knowledge of biology, anatomy, physiology, and cytology techniques is essential. Skills & Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to perform quality checks, and familiarity with cytology preparation. Key Duties: Microscopic examination, interpretation, specimen handling, and adherence to departmental policies.
