Stepdown Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Stepdown Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for the management and support of patients recovering from critical care conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their care and recovery.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license and required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA).
• Experience in a stepdown or telemetry unit preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Shift Details

This position entails working from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required.
