About This Role Join the team as a Shift Manager at McDonald's. In this role you will lead daily shifts, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety. This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is your employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Plan and schedule each shift. Monitor performance and take action to meet McDonald's standards. Ensure safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the next Shift Manager to provide hand‑over information. Help assigned departments meet their goals. Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred (restaurant, retail, or hospitality). Positive team player with a flexible schedule. Must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager.
