Cross Country Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across two middle schools in Arlington Heights, IL . This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent school-day schedule and the opportunity to collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team.

Position Details

• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Position: Occupational Therapist
• Assignment: ASAP– June 3, 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–3:15 PM
• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Pay: $53–60+/hr based on experience (W-2)
• Setting: School-Based

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a middle school setting.
• Collaborate with a team of occupational therapists and school staff to support student needs.
• Provide initial and ongoing occupational therapy interventions .
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies based on student needs.
• Support students' participation and success within the school environment.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support IEP development and implementation as appropriate.
• Consult with school teams to promote generalization of skills across settings.
• Document services, student progress, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Illinois Occupational Therapist license – REQUIRED
• Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
