This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Engineer to work as a member of the Water Business Group in our Cincinnati Ohio office. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and / or detailed design and construction services for water / wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection / distribution systems. In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we will count on you to:Create detailed designs ofwater/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection/distribution systems.Prepare drawings write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewatersystems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.Perform other duties as needed.Keywords: Water, Wastewater, Treatment, Pumpstation, Pipeline, Civil, Environmental, Engineering, Construction, Hydraulic, Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Engineer, Fieldwork, Cleanup, Engineering Principles, Environmental Regulations, Wastewater Treatment TechnologiesPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) certificationM.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience a plus.A minimum of 3 years experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projectsPreference given to local candidates#LI-EH1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldPrevious experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
