Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for documenting all activities performed in accordance with established policy. Observes patient behavior, focusing on biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and sociocultural needs. Performs the secretarial/clerical aspects of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The CNA must be able to prioritize and process physician orders accurately and within designated time frames; seeking assistance as needed. The CNA is responsible for the answering of patient calls, and receives, greets, and directs patients/visitors; records and delivers messages for patients/staff.QualificationsEducation/Training/Experience:Current, valid CA.
