Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate HMD Trucking's OTR dry van routes out of Columbus, delivering freight across the nation while working with a driver-focused team. You'll run long-haul lanes in late-model sleeper tractors equipped with APUs and inverters, backed by reliable in-house maintenance to keep you moving.

Primary responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL-A dry van truck on interstate OTR routes and secure freight for transport.
• Perform accurate pre/post-trip inspections, maintain ELD logs, and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules and optimize route efficiency.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.

Pay starts at 65 CPM with strong mileage averages, routine home time every two weeks, and performance bonuses.
