As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required certifications and carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
