Fabrication Specialist

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction and building industry, is seeking a Fabrication specialist to join their team. As a Fabrication professional, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of commercial windows, curtain walls, storefronts, and doors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabrication

Location: Port Matilda, PA

Pay Range: Competitive based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer's instructions accurately.
• Utilize oral and written instructions to determine the size, shape, color, and type of materials needed.
• Cut, fit, and assemble materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Operate forklifts and side loaders to move materials from storage to production areas safely.
• Fabricate various composite panels from flat stock and unload materials from trucks and tractor-trailers.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in shop, construction, or building trades preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or construction trades preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate effectively with team members.
