Product Release Engineer

Key Responsibilities Support execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in PLM (ENOVIA) and ERP (SAP) systems with guidance from senior engineers. Assist in maintaining product structures, BOMs, and revision data to ensure consistency across engineering and manufacturing systems. Collaborate with engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, optical, software) to gather required release documentation, including drawings and specifications. Perform basic data validation and quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to release. Work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service teams to address routine release‑related questions and issues. Support production ramp activities by updating product data and helping resolve documentation gaps. Track assigned ECO tasks and follow established workflows to meet release schedules. Learn and follow standard release processes, configuration management practices, and documentation requirements. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance data quality and release efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field. 2 years or more of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product data management. Basic familiarity with engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications). Exposure to PLM/ERP systems is strongly preferred (ENOVIA, SAP or similar). Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn structured data management practices. Ability to work in a team environment and follow defined processes. Good written and verbal communication skills. Minimum qualifications: Master’s level degree with 0 years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s level degree with at least 2 years of related experience. Benefits and Compensation Base Pay Range: $95,000.00 – $161,500.00 annually. Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas.
