Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This role requires a focus on patient care in a fast-paced environment, providing support for various stages of labor as well as post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes in a supportive and safe environment.
• Circulate and provide care in OB-GYN, Post-Op, Pre-Op, and Scrub roles.
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases.
• Conduct assessments of patients experiencing labor and preterm labor.
• Utilize special equipment such as wound vacs and pumps for patient management.
• Perform specialized procedures, including blood product administration and cardioversion.

Qualifications

• Must possess 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Epic experience is required.
• Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS (preferred).

Patient Care Information

• Staffing ratio: 1:1-3.
• Responsibilities include care for low-risk antepartum patients and participation in couplet care.
• Float within the department may include post-partum and potentially labor and delivery.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, working 4x12-hour schedules.
