Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients on a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit following inpatient rooming-in practices, with all infants roomed with mothers
• Monitor and care for neonatal and adult patient age groups, utilizing newborn nursery resources as clinically indicated
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Communicate clinical findings and patient status using SBAR communication framework
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols and participate in scheduled weekend rotations (every other weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts — license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• AWHONN Beginner certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate or AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
