Accounting Specialist

Summary We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Refreshment Specialist to join our dynamic accounting office team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the accounting office by overseeing vending‑related financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Pay: $25 per hour - $27 per hour Responsibilities Conduct financial audits and performance evaluation of vending machine operations, including revenue, cash flow, profitability, and cost analysis. Act as a liaison between the finance department and internal stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to gather financial data and provide baseline insights for decision‑making. Assist with month‑end closing and reconciliation processes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to align financial goals with business objectives and strategies. Input financial information into databases, spreadsheets, and accounting software with precision and attention to detail. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline data entry workflows and enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications Associate’s degree in accounting/business or related field is preferred. 2+ years in an accounting office or similar role Highly proficient in Microsoft Office platform Experience using various ERP systems (Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred) Strong communication skills Ability and interest in problem‑solving, self‑starter Experience working in a cross‑functional team environment About Us Together, American Food & Vending and American Dining Creations form one of the nation’s largest privately held dining and refreshment service organizations.
