Clinical Research Nurse

Research Nurse IIThe Research Nurse II supports Phase I clinical research studies by providing direct nursing care, monitoring participant safety, and ensuring protocol compliance. Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, this role is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, supporting study operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to the successful execution of research activities involving healthy volunteers and patients.Key ResponsibilitiesReview study protocols and informed consent forms and communicate potential concerns to appropriate team members.Perform nursing activities in accordance with study protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.Assess, document, and manage adverse events while supporting timely safety reporting activities.Collaborate with investigators, physicians, data management teams, and study personnel to support clinical research operations.Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to compliance standards.Participate in volunteer recruitment, screening, enrollment, and informed consent activities.Conduct clinical assessments and review study-related data to determine participant eligibility.Dispense investigational products and provide participant education regarding administration requirements.Develop and maintain accurate source documentation and study records.Ensure all protocol-specific procedures are completed according to study requirements.Provide clinical expertise and participant support throughout the research process.Perform additional study-related duties as assigned.Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.Experience supporting clinical research studies, healthcare operations, or patient care environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and participant interaction skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with MS Office applications.Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.Knowledge of clinical documentation and patient assessment practices.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Phase I clinical research studies.Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, and clinical research regulations.Experience working with research participants, informed consent processes, or investigational products.Knowledge of adverse event reporting and safety monitoring activities.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.Pay Range: $30/hr to $40/hr
