Surgical Technologist

Under direct supervision, cares, handles and stores instruments, supplies and equipment necessary for surgery and processed goods for redistribution throughout the Medical Center. Assists Sterile Processing Specialists with various team lead duties, such as maintaining competencies.

• 2 years recent SPT experience - REQUIRED
• RTO cannot exceed 40 hours

1.5x OT/Call Back/Holiday OT starts after 48 hours

Candidates may request off the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours. For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7-day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate. A candidate contracted for 40 hours/week would be able to request 40 hours.

Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out. RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
