Supervisory Transportation Assistant

Job Title

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Exercises supervisory responsibility over the activities of the Transportation Assistants and Motor Vehicle Operators in the performance of their daily duties
• Conducts complex and special studies for efficiency and productivity and recommends changes or improvements in work methods and procedures
• Develops procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative control systems
• Identifies resources (staffing, funding, equipment, facilities) required to support varied level of program operations
• Reviews administrative audits and investigative reports to recommend appropriate changes or corrective action required
• Conducts special cost benefits analyses, studies, reports, surveys, inquiries, and evaluations
• Prepares oral and written reports and presentations - prepares graphs and charts that present clear, concise, and effective analytical results of, evaluations and studies performed and provides staff level with formal presentations
• Coordinates work operations, assigns tasks, provides coverage, and assures that the work is completed in a timely manner
• Receives and reviews billings from various parties for government payment and verifies services billed were authorized
• Performs analysis of budget requests to include techniques such as cost-benefit analysis or exploring alternative methods of funding
• Serves as the first-level point of contact for escalated Veteran concerns and attempts to resolve issues before referring to the Mobility Manager
• Performs other related duties as required

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
