Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor) Project Title: Web Marketing Copywriter Project Type: Contract Location: Remote Rate: $80-95/hr Duration: Through 12/31/26 Hourly Expectations: 2 roles are 40 hours per week, and 1 role is 20 hours per week Sia is looking for 3 experienced Web Marketing Copywriters to support digital and web initiatives for a leading technology client. This role is ideal for a writer who specializes in content created specifically for digital experiences. You understand that great web copy is more than strong writing. It needs to communicate complex ideas clearly, guide users through an experience, support marketing objectives, and drive action. You’ll partner with marketing, product, web, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop compelling copy across websites, landing pages, product and feature pages, campaign experiences, and other digital touchpoints. We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand a product, audience, and marketing objective and translate that information into clear, concise, engaging web content. Key Responsibilities Web & Digital Copywriting Write and edit copy for websites, landing pages, product and feature pages, campaign pages, and other digital experiences Develop compelling headlines, subheads, calls to action, value propositions, and supporting web copy Translate complex product, technical, or marketing concepts into clear, accessible, audience-friendly language Adapt messaging based on the purpose of the page, target audience, user journey, and desired action Balance brand storytelling with concise, conversion-focused writing Ensure copy is structured and optimized for how users consume content online Marketing & Content Strategy Partner with marketing and web teams to translate campaign, product, and go-to-market strategies into effective web messaging Understand where individual pages and content experiences fit within the broader marketing funnel and customer journey Apply SEO and digital content best practices while maintaining natural, high-quality writing Recommend messaging hierarchies, content structures, and approaches based on business and user needs Maintain consistency in voice, tone, terminology, and messaging across digital experiences Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with marketers, designers, web producers, product teams, and other stakeholders to bring digital experiences to life Incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining clarity and consistency in the final content Manage multiple writing assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment Work independently from creative briefs, messaging frameworks, stakeholder conversations, and existing source material This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Strong portfolio demonstrating website, landing page, product, campaign, or other digital copy Demonstrated ability to write concise, engaging copy specifically for online audiences Experience translating complex topics into clear and compelling messaging Strong understanding of digital marketing, web content strategy, and user journeys Familiarity with SEO principles and writing for organic search Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail Ability to shift tone and messaging for different audiences, products, and objectives Comfortable working collaboratively with marketing, design, product, and web teams Ability to manage feedback, ambiguity, and multiple priorities with minimal oversight Preferred Qualifications Experience writing for technology, software, AI, or other complex products Experience supporting product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, or go-to-market initiatives Familiarity with CMS platforms and the web publishing process Experience working within established brand voice and content guidelines Understanding of UX writing, conversion optimization, and web accessibility principles Experience using AI tools as part of the writing, research, or content development process What We’re Looking For Above all, we’re looking for a web-first writer.
