Village Caregiving In-home Caregiver

Village Caregiving in Chapmanville, WV is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregivers to provide quality care to clients in surrounding areas. The surrounding areas include Logan, McDowell, Mingo, and Wyoming County. This is a part-time hourly position in the healthcare/medical field and requires an individual contributor who is comfortable working independently. The In-home Caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring they receive the care and support they need to maintain a high quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to clients in their homes
• Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards clients, family members, and coworkers
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of clients
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Attend training and educational sessions to enhance caregiving skills

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field is preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate and empathetic towards clients and their needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and be a team player
