Owner Operator CDLA Flatbed Contract Heavy Haul Open Deck

Position Overview
We are engaging CDL-A Owner Operators with flatbed or step deck equipment to support freight operations involving open-deck and specialized cargo. This opportunity is structured for drivers experienced in hauling oversized or irregular freight who prefer to manage their own operations.
Drivers maintain full control over routes, schedules, and freight participation while operating independently.
Freight Overview
Freight may include construction materials, machinery, steel, and other oversized commodities. Some loads may require securement knowledge, tarping, or compliance with load-specific regulations.
Availability varies based on demand and regional activity.
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL-A vehicle safely under DOT regulations
- Secure loads using proper chains, straps, and tarps
- Ensure compliance with weight and size restrictions
- Maintain ELD logs and documentation
- Perform inspections before and after trips
- Communicate load updates when required
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Flatbed or step deck equipment
- Experience with load securement
- Active insurance coverage
- Acceptable driving record
Work Structure
1099 contractor role. Drivers handle all operational costs. Freight volume varies.
