This role involves providing emergency care in a 70-bed hospital with a high-volume ER, offering 24-hour physician coverage and a diverse patient population across all ages. Opportunity Highlights Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity Schedule: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts Assignment: ASAP 14,000 annual ER visits 70-bed hospital serving VA and West Virginia communities 12-hour shifts, including weekends and nights Must have VA medical license and VA DEA in hand ACLS certification required Experience in emergency medicine within hospital settings 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts Coverage includes weekends and nights Practice Environment This opportunity is based at a rural hospital serving communities in Virginia and West Virginia. Providers will work within a well-established emergency department with 24-hour physician coverage, supported by a dedicated nursing team and hospital staff. The facility offers a full range of medical specialties and handles approximately 14,000 ER visits annually.
