This role involves providing emergency care in a 70-bed hospital with a high-volume ER, offering 24-hour physician coverage and a diverse patient population across all ages.

Practice Environment
This opportunity is based at a rural hospital serving communities in Virginia and West Virginia. Providers will work within a well-established emergency department with 24-hour physician coverage, supported by a dedicated nursing team and hospital staff. The facility offers a full range of medical specialties and handles approximately 14,000 ER visits annually.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency care for patients of all ages
• Assessments, acute management, and stabilization
• Evaluation and treatment of medical and traumatic emergencies
• Documentation and order entry within ER workflows
• Collaboration with hospital staff and consulting services

Candidate Requirements

• Active Virginia medical license and current VA DEA registration
• Board Certified Family Medicine, ABEM or ABEOM certification
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ER experience
• BC certified within 7 years of residency completion
• ACLS training required
• Willing to work day, night, and weekend shifts
