job summary: Join our vocational training team in this dynamic educational role. We are seeking an advanced Electrical Instructor to deliver higher-level classroom, field, and distance learning instruction on complex electrical systems, theory, and industrial troubleshooting. In this position, you will lead curriculum development, mentor junior instructors, and provide operational support to ensure our Construction Apprenticeship programs meet all regulatory and accreditation standards. Candidates must possess at least 6 years of journey-level or technician-level electrical construction experience, with either open shop or union exposure. You need more than 3 years of successful experience teaching in a vocational or technical program and the ability to obtain an NCCER Instructor Certification. strong computer literacy is essential, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual platforms like Teams or Zoom. location: Clinton, Mississippi job type: Contract salary: $43.07 - 48.07 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Teach higher-level electrical theory, transformers, power distribution, and industrial troubleshooting across classroom and field settings. Develop new training content, enhance instructional strategies, and recommend improvements to existing course materials. Support program operations by managing apprentice enrollment, scheduling, tracking progress, and processing applications. Maintain accurate documentation, ratios, and checks and balances to comply with regulatory requirements and program integrity.
