About the Role As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets. The role covers the Rolling Plains region of West Texas and requires frequent travel. What Your Day Could Look Like Prospecting new business through traffic at driveways, cattle auctions, and local livestock associations, and managing an outbound lead generation pipeline. In‑field sales, meeting potential customers on the ranch, and engaging in on‑site conversations about how Halter can add value. Expanding existing opportunities with current customers by identifying upsell possibilities and deepening value propositions. Hitting sales targets through expert pipeline management and a focus on high‑quality leads. Customer account management, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and smooth handoffs from sales to onboarding and implementation. Territory ownership, mapping and covering every corner of your region and building relationships with local, state, and federal agencies. Customer onboarding, overseeing the end‑to‑end experience from deployment to adoption. Field learnings & feedback, collecting and advocating for customer needs within the territory. Collaborating with support teams to resolve issues quickly and keep customers fully supported. Attending industry events to generate leads and deepen relationships. Contributing to the U.S. sales strategy, optimizing processes and driving efficiencies. Essential Qualifications Results‑driven and proactive communication skills; ability to thrive in high‑stakes environments. Ranching or cattle operation experience to connect meaningfully with customers. Sales and customer success expertise, including creating new business opportunities and negotiating value‑based conversations. Territory management experience, ideally within agriculture or technology sectors. Problem solving and collaboration ability, working effectively with cross‑functional teams. Willingness to travel frequently within your territory. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies. Background in customer‑facing roles within ag‑tech. Background selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment. Benefits Annual USD 750 self‑development budget.
