This direct-hire Mold Maintenance Technician opportunity is perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude; who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and maintaining precision tooling in a manufacturing environment. Tool and die experience is a plus-but a willingness to learn is what matters most!

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, automotive, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment safely.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision components.
• Dependable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• High School Diploma or GED (technical or trade school training is a plus).

Job Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on molds, dies, and tooling.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble tooling components.
• Repair minor wear, chips, and surface imperfections to restore tool performance.
• Buff, polish, and finish tooling to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect components for damage and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support senior toolmakers with complex repairs while developing your technical skills.
