This position assists with meal service, dining room setup, resident interaction, cleanliness, and teamwork while helping ensure meals are delivered in a warm, respectful, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is compassionate, energetic, dependable, and enjoys working with seniors. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, setup, and dining room service Serve meals and beverages to residents in a professional and friendly manner Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming Observe resident needs and communicate concerns to leadership appropriately Support residents during mealtimes with patience and hospitality Assist with cleaning dishes, tables, and food service areas Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Work collaboratively with kitchen and caregiving teams Help create a positive and engaging dining experience for residents Qualifications Previous dining, server, hospitality, restaurant, or senior living experience preferred Compassionate and service-oriented attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to interact respectfully with seniors, families, and staff Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds Frequent transporting of residents in wheelchairs as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout shifts What Makes a Great Fit We are looking for someone who: Enjoys helping and interacting with seniors Brings positivity and teamwork to every shift Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service Maintains professionalism and compassion in all interactions Creates welcoming dining experiences that make residents feel at home What Our Associates Say About Charter “It truly feels like family at Charter.”
