Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Kentucky Ongoing and Easy Airport Access

Jackson and Coker is in need of a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to assist one of our Kentucky based health system partners. One of the hospital's providers will be on leave starting immediately and will likely be returning late 2027. They are in search of a surgeon with a strong background to cover 1-2 weeks per month starting immediately. Emergency and temporary privileges are available for clean candidates.

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Kentucky medical license required (IMLC certificate must be active to apply)
24 Hour Call
Privileges available: Temp Privileges, Full Privileges
Minimum years of Experience: 3
Geographic restriction: No geographic restrictions
Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
Board Certified or Eligible Cardiac Surgery
Boards: ABTS
Certifications: BLS
Workload: Avg 4-6 hours callback per shift
Skills/Procedures: B&B Cardiac Surgery - valves, CABG, etc. VAD preferred but not required.
3 Surgeons and 5 APPs are available for support on the Cardiac side
APPs will assist with surgery, call, and rounding
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospitals
Setting: Inpatient/OR
APP Supervision Required
Adult/Peds: 100%/0%
EMR: Epic
Physicians are on 2nd call during the week and 1st call on weekends.
