Job Summary:
The facility located in Lubbock, Texas, is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The position involves providing specialized obstetric and neonatal care in a Labor & Delivery Department within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day of assignment. The RN will be responsible for supporting high-risk deliveries, managing postpartum care, and utilizing advanced fetal monitoring techniques. The shift schedule is nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Lubbock, Texas
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (must be in hand at submission)
• Experience: 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, with proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system
• Schedule: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, and certifications as listed above.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with EPIC, high-risk obstetric experience, and experience in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Additional Information:
  • Must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent obstetric experience and provide two references covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the past three years.
  • The assignment requires the ability to manage complex obstetric cases and neonatal resuscitations, with a focus on high-risk pregnancies.
  • No on-call or float requirements are specified, but some float between units may be expected.
