Weekly Pay $21-24/hr

Job Description

This role involves operating a variety of forklifts to organize, maintain, and replenish inventory in a modern warehouse environment, while also supporting order picking and shipping and receiving activities as needed. The position requires comfort working at heights of approximately 2530 feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate a swing-reach forklift safely and efficiently to move, organize, and replenish inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with order picking to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and staging materials as required.
• Work comfortably at heights of approximately 2530 feet while operating the swing-reach lift.
• Monitor and operate a machine saw to keep it running smoothly, performing basic checks and minimal maintenance tasks as trained.
• Handle materials carefully to maintain product quality and prevent damage.
• Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and warehouse protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
• Adapt to working with a variety of products and inventory types in a low-volume, high product mix environment where attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications:

• Proven forklift operation experience, ideally including swing-reach, reach truck, or similar equipment.
• Comfort working at heights of approximately 2530 feet while operating material handling equipment.
• Material handling experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to learn and safely operate a machine saw with provided training.
• Strong attention to detail when working with multiple product types and variations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines consistently.
• Reliable work history demonstrating stability and commitment.
• Experience with reach trucks, cherry pickers, or other specialized forklifts.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, well-conditioned warehouse environment within a low-volume, high product mix operation. You may work with a wide range of products, many of which differ only slightly and are customized for individual customers, requiring a high level of attention to detail. The facility offers ample space with clearly separated departments and a new warehouse addition and break room that support a comfortable workday. During certain tasks, you will wear gloves to protect your hands from oils and adhesives and to keep products clean.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
