Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Baton Rouge, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. DayTimeTue04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSat08:00 PM - 04:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and shift activity in required reports.
- Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and supporting a welcoming environment for authorized occupants and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
