Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a Myrtle Beach, SC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate GE CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for emergency department and inpatient populations. This role supports a high-volume CT service with multiple scanners and a trauma-centered patient mix.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• CT certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of CT experience in a Level I trauma setting required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate GE CT scanners (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently.
• Ability to perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient populations including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Experience working in a high-volume hospital CT department handling an average of approximately 180 CT exams per day across multiple scanners.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Responsible for ED and inpatient exams only.
• Work environment: hospital radiology department supporting trauma-level care and multiple CT scanners.
• Uniform: charcoal grey required.
