Staff Accountant

An excellent financial services company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role after an initial onsite training period. Performs a wide variety of accounting and related functions essential to the maintenance of up-to-date financial information on various bank activities. Ensure that daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Mount Kemble Search Group provided pay range This range is provided by Mount Kemble Search Group. Base pay range $45,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Responsibilities Provide accounting to the finance department. Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, reconciliations and statements. Assist and provide support to Bank personnel. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws. Constantly update job knowledge. Other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications 2-5+ years of accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a concentration in Accounting Banking or financial services industry experience Proficient in Excel, MS Office and MS Word Experience with COCC, Prologue, Banktel and/or Blackline systems a plus.
