About the Role:

The Animal Eye Care Vet Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality care to animals. This position involves assisting with front desk, routine procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of animal patients. The Vet Assistant will be responsible for preparing animals for examinations, administering medications as directed, and monitoring their condition throughout their visit. Additionally, this role requires effective communication with pet owners to provide instructions and support regarding animal care. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with animals in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• Basic knowledge of animal handling and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Feed, water, and exercise animals as needed, monitoring their behavior and reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
