Overview Job Title: Windows Engineer/Administrator Location: Full-Time Onsite in Reno, NV Contract Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire Travel Requirements: 10% travel to Las Vegas or nearby locations within driving distance. Note: Strong enough with Active Directory, managing group policies, patching tools like SCCM. Responsibilities Configure, deploy, and manage Windows systems, including Active Directory and domain controllers. Integrate Windows systems with related software and ensure robust antivirus protection. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a Cisco/Dell environment. Configure hardware, including racking and connecting switches, with basic networking knowledge. Connect and manage storage solutions. Provision ESX hosts and templated virtual machines with Windows Server and client. Required Skills and Experience Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and configurations. Experience with hardware configuration and basic networking. Familiarity with VMware, specifically provisioning ESX hosts and virtual machines. Operational Technology (OT) experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Cisco and Dell environments. Qualifications Proven experience as a Windows Engineer or similar role. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel as required.
