Network Operations Technician

Salary Range: $68,106.40 To $85,133.00 Annually Nex-Tech is seeking a Network Operations Technician to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems supporting internet, voice, and data services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring network reliability and service quality. This position is ideal for someone with technical aptitude who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting and working in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do: Monitor network systems to ensure stability and performance Troubleshoot network issues and outages across multiple systems Maintain routers, switches, and network management systems Assist with network security and firewall support Support enterprise customer network environments Manage and document IP addressing and network configurations Collaborate with internal teams to resolve network issues Assist with infrastructure maintenance and improvements What You Bring: Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP) Familiarity with routers, switches, and network systems Basic understanding of network security concepts Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills Education & Experience: Associate degree in communications technology, computer systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) plus relevant networking experience.
