Job Title: Raw Materials Receiver (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift) Job Description

The Raw Materials Receiver plays a critical role in the food production process by coordinating incoming raw material deliveries, performing quality and safety checks, and accurately documenting all shipments. This hands-on role involves working closely with tanker truck drivers, operating transfer equipment, monitoring silo and storage tank capacity, and maintaining strict food safety and quality standards throughout the receiving process.

• Communicate with inbound tanker drivers to coordinate delivery times and unloading activities.
• Verify shipment accuracy by checking documentation and confirming the correct raw materials and quantities are received.
• Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Monitor silo and storage tank capacity to ensure safe and efficient unloading operations.
• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses and related equipment used to unload raw materials from tanker trucks.
• Assist with positioning tanker trailers as needed, using provided training and safety procedures.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and plant operating procedures during receiving and unloading activities.
• Complete required receiving documentation, including inventory records and production data entry in the operating system.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, hoses, and connections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in and around the receiving and unloading zones.
• Work safely around tanker trucks, production equipment, and elevated platforms, including tanks and trailers.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support smooth material flow into the facility.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, receiving, or material handling preferred.
• Comfort working around tanker trucks and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and climb stairs and ladders, including accessing the top of tanker trailers when needed.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail in handling equipment and connections.
• Basic computer skills for recording shipments, inventory, and production data in the operating system.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures, food safety requirements, and quality standards consistently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with drivers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to climb tanks, platforms, ladders, and tanker trailers as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with raw material receiving, testing, or inspection processes in a food-grade or similar facility.
• Exposure to logistics and supply chain operations involving tanker trucks and bulk raw materials.
• Experience working in environments that require strict adherence to cleanliness and organization standards.
• Comfort working in a warehouse or production setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Interest in developing deeper mechanical skills related to hoses, valves, and unloading equipment.

This role is based in a food-grade manufacturing facility that handles bulk raw materials delivered by tanker trucks. The position is hands-on and involves working in and around production areas, silos, storage tanks, and unloading stations. Team members may work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, and should expect to be on their feet for most of the shift while standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting. Some areas of the facility can become hot, especially during warmer weather, and the work involves both indoor and outdoor conditions. The environment includes industrial equipment, elevated platforms, tanks, and tanker trailers, requiring consistent use of safety procedures and appropriate work attire suitable for a manufacturing and food-processing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pacific, MO.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
