The Physical Therapist will provide specialized care to geriatric, orthopedic, and neurological patients within an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, development and execution of tailored treatment plans, and the use of various therapy technologies and equipment to improve patient mobility and function. The therapist will manage a caseload ranging from low to medium volume, focusing on individualized rehabilitation and multidisciplinary collaboration. Part-time position available.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments for geriatric, orthopedic, and neurological populations
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Perform manual therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises
• Educate patients on treatment processes and self-care techniques
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly
• Document treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Utilize traditional therapy equipment, electrical stimulation devices, and hydrotherapy tools
• Focus on improving patient mobility and functional independence

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in physical therapy
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Licensed Physical Therapist (state-specific)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and rehabilitation techniques
• Proficient in manual therapy and exercise prescription
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience with patient assessment and documentation
• Armenian speaking preferred
