Staff Pharmacist - Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with hospital experience seeking a dynamic role in Wisconsin. The position is based in Marshfield, WI, at a 250-bed facility, offering a 13-week contract with the potential for extension. Candidates licensed in Wisconsin or those willing to obtain the Act10 temporary license are encouraged to apply.
Schedule:
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- Rotating shifts between 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Workweek typically starts on Wednesday
- Dispense medications accurately in compliance with hospital protocols
- Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Participate in medication therapy reviews and provide clinical recommendations
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license or eligibility for Act10 temporary license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work flexible shifts and maintain professionalism under pressure
