Laboratory Assistant II/Glasswasher - Molecular Microbiology

Location SAINT LOUIS, MO 63110 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Responsible for washing the department’s glassware and autoclaving dry ware, liquids, and biohazard waste. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Collects glassware from labs. Loads into washer, wash, dry and wrap with saran wrap. Washes and dries by hand all plasticware. Separates to autoclave dry ware. Returns to labs and places on shelves. Washes, dries, plugs and autoclaves pipettes from each lab. Maintains stock for labs. Autoclaves liquids and biohazard waste from labs. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
