Location: Norway, ME Facility: Stephens Hospital Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day Job Category: Management/Leadership Req #: 79831 Date Posted: May 15, 2026 Overview The Supervisor – Rehabilitation Services oversees department therapists and team members, maintains departmental operations and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting quality inpatient and outpatient patient care. The role coordinates clinical services across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech‑Language Pathology, provides direct patient care, and ensures effective collaboration with hospital staff, physicians, and the community. The supervisor works with the Director to maintain efficient workflows, support staff development, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence‑based practices. Responsibilities Supervise department therapists and team members. Maintain departmental operations and compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate clinical services across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech‑Language Pathology. Provide direct patient care. Ensure effective collaboration with hospital staff, physicians, and community partners. Collaborate with the Director to maintain efficient workflows and support staff development. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence‑based practices. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required. License/Certifications: Current state licensure in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required; Active BLS certification required. Experience: Three years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology.
