Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for processing metal tubing into precise sizes and shapes as per client requests. You will handle raw materials, perform multiple manufacturing processes, and ensure the tubing meets exact specifications through quality checks and tests. Your role involves operating machinery, inspecting, cleaning, cutting, coiling, and shrink wrapping the tubing for shipment.
Responsibilities

• Operate machines to process metal tubing.
• Ensure tubing is drawn, heated, melted, reduced, extruded, degreased, and cut to specifications.
• Inspect tubing quality and ensure it meets nominal order specifications.
• Perform hydro tests to check for imperfections.
• Ensure tubing does not get tangled during processing.
• Clean, cut, and coil tubing efficiently.
• Shrink wrap tubing for shipment.
• Follow specific order metrics and meet performance standards.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Hands-on experience operating machines.
• Strong math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with experience in machine operation.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a manufacturing environment that can reach temperatures up to 110 degrees in the summer, so comfort with high temperatures is necessary. The plant is heated during the winter for a comfortable working condition. The role requires flexibility with shift timings, including options for 1st, 2nd, and 4th shifts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAMDEN WYOMING, DE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
